Collins View is located in southwest Portland, near the Marshall Park, Arnold Creek, and South Burlingame neighborhoods. The population as of 2016 was 2,544. Lewis and Clark College, a private liberal arts university, is located in Collins View.
SW Terwilliger and SW Boones Ferry Road are the two major traffic thoroughfares through the neighborhood, and serve to connect it to I-5. With the I-5 connection, the neighborhood is accessible from many other regions of the city. SW Terwilliger and SW Boones Ferry Road wind through the neighborhood, and many homes are tucked away among the trees. Collins View is an ideal neighborhood for those who would like to live in Portland but still enjoy the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest right outside their door.

Lewis and Clark College is one of Portland’s premier private universities, and is located in the Collins View neighborhood. The majority of students are undergraduates, but there is a School of Law and a Graduate School of Education and Counseling on campus. Lewis and Clark has a number of on-campus activities and lectures which are open to the community, as well as Griswold Stadium which hosts the school’s football and soccer games.
